Agenda

In this demo-paced session I’ll be walking through the new IDE features in Visual Studio 2012 designed to help you be more productive inside the IDE. Come see how we’ve improved the developer experience by streamlining the common tasks, simplifying the environment, and allowing developers to focus on the code that matters. Then I’ll be showing the improvements in our ALM story. Microsoft's application lifecycle management tooling is all about enabling teams to deliver great software. You will learn how to more effectively plan and track work by using the new web-based project management tools; how to bridge the divide between development and operations by utilizing IntelliTrace in your production environments; and how to help keep team members on-task and "in the zone" with the new "My Work" and code review features. In addition to making your team more productive, we will show you how you can boost your overall code quality with new features such as code clone and an overhauled unit testing story in Visual Studio 2012.

About Azure SIG
The Cleveland Azure Special Interest Group (Azure SIG) (formerly the Cleveland .NET SIG) was founded in a partnership between Bennett Adelson and Microsoft 20 years ago. The SIG has become the forum for Azure collaboration and instruction from some of the brightest minds in the region. The organization was founded to provide enterprise customers and community with educational support on the Azure cloud platform. The group meetings consist of architecture and implementation focused, content-rich presentations and interactive discussions with demos. The audience ranges from Azure experts to those decision makers, infrastructure engineers, and developers that are getting their first glimpse of the cloud.
